2014 FIFA World Cup

The FIFA World Cup is one of the most highly anticipated sporting events in the world. It comes around every 4 years and creates more pandemonium than any other form of entertainment. Football has the power to both bring the world together and polarize it at the same time, as people from all over the world draw their attention to the matches at hand and their allegiance to the country of their choice.

This year, the festivities will be conducted in Brazil, so we can expect loud music, vibrant colours and an overarching fun, party vibe. But more importantly, it could also provide a bit of a home team advantage to the Brazilian team, as they’ll be more motivated than ever to win on home soil. To get there, they will have to beat some fierce competition, including the reigning champions of Spain, desperate to hold onto their title. And then there’s their rivals in Argentina who will be hungry for a victory. And when it comes to World Cup action, you cannot count out the German team, who may just rise up and take the whole thing. But one thing is for sure: this year’s cup will attract a lot of attention and no matter who wins or loses, we can expect some great football along the way.

Entertainment Revisited will provide coverage for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Match reviews and statistical updates will go up after the matches. Since my expertise about sports is very shallow, I have enlisted the help of football enthusiast Aaron Moniz to cover the happenings of this year’s festivities.
