Muller won a free kick in the 3rd minute from a great spot. Argentina got a chance from the counter and Higuain lashed a shot just wide.

Argentina won a corner in the 11th. Germany defended well.

Germany had a free kick in the 14th.

Cristoph Kramer went down injured in the 17th, just after replacing Khedira at the beginning. Kramer may go off.

HIGUAIN! HE WAS LET IN BY KRAMER AND HE SHOT WAY WIDE!

GERMANY! They got a play in to Muller, who got a shot but he was just offside. Klose would’ve finished any hypothetical rebound in the 28th.

Bastian Schweinsteiger was shown yellow in the 29th. Argentina had a free kick. It was cleared.

GOAL! ARGENTINA IS AHEAD! HIGUAIN IS OFFSIDE!

Kramer came off for Schurrle in the 31st after that nasty tackle.

Howedes got yellow for a challenge on Zabaleta in the 33rd.

Argentina won a corner in the 35th. Neuer claimed it.

WHAT A SAVE BY ROMERO! Schurrle got a shot 1 touch but it hit Romero and Ozil before going out.

Messi was in on goal after a great run but Neuer claimed it in the 40th.

Kroos got a shot in the 43rd but Romero saved it.

Muller got a ball into Klose but Klose couldn’t get to it.

Germany won a corner in the 45th as the ref called for 2 minutes of stoppage time. Hummels got to it but he couldn’t control that. He got another corner. HOWEDES HIT THE POST AND THEY CALLED OFFSIDE FOR THE REBOUND ON MULLER!

Half Time and Tactical Report:

The score should be 3-3! Both sides had insane chances, including a goal that was rightly disallowed for offside! Germany hit the post! Argentina is defending deep in hope of scoring from a counter. They are forced to do this because Germany is looking for a goal; Argentina is forced to attack so they can hit from the counter. The game is really tactical.

The 2nd half started, as Sergio Aguero came on for Lavezzi.

Mascherano got Higuain in the box but he was offside before he could play to Messi.

MESSI! HE WAS THROUGH AND HE NEVER MISSES! HE WAS JUST WIDE!

Germany won a corner in the 54th. Muller was called for an offensive foul.

Higuain was called for an offensive foul in the 57th and Higuain was injured.

Klose got a header in the 59th, but Romero stopped it.

A cross went to Ozil in the 61st, but he couldn’t.

Aguero won a corner, but Messi couldn’t do well with it.

Mascherano slipped in the 63rd and tackled Klose in the 64th and got a yellow card.

Aguero got yellow in the 65th for a challenge on Schweinsteiger.

Argentina won a free kick half way into the German half. Neuer claimed it.

Messi got a drive from outside the box in the 74th but he was wide.

Higuain came off in the 77th for Palacio.

Germany won a corner in the 78th. It didn’t quite work.

KROOS! HE GOT A DRIVE IN THE 81st BUT HE WAS JUST WIDE!

Perez came off for Gago in the 86th minute.

Klose came off for Mario Gotze.

Biglia was injured in the 88th.

SCHURRLE! He was open and Romero just saved it!

PALACIO! He got an open chance and he chipped Neuer but it was wide!

Germany won a free kick just outside the box in the 107th minute. Schweinsteiger is injured and they tackled him. Kroos kicked it in but it was cleared.

Schweinsteiger was fouled again by Aguero but the 2nd yellow wasn’t shown in the 109th minute. Schweinsteiger was bleeding.

Messi headed just over.

Ozil came off for Mertesacker in the 120th.

It wasn’t over yet… Schweinsteiger challenged Messi and Argentina won a free kick. HE MISSED! SO FAR WIDE! LIONEL MESSI!

Manuel Neuer- He was fantastic today, denying many times. 8.5

Philipp Lahm- He played tirelessly down the right flank. 8.5

Jerome Boateng- He justified his place as one of the best defenders in the world today. 8

Mats Hummels- He should win an award, as he was the best defender in the tournament. 8.5

Benedikt Howedes- He was so good in defence, and he forced Messi to the centre. 8.5

Bastian Schweinsteiger- He took a knock and some risks but he is still one of the best around. 8.5

Toni Kroos- He made 1 mistake but he never threw anything after that. 8.5

Mesut Ozil- He did very well to make plays today. 8.5

Thomas Muller- He should’ve gotten that goal today, but he still played so, so well. 9

Andre Schurrle- He got the assist for the biggest goal in the century for Germany, but he was very good outside that. 9

Mario Gotze- He was absolutely amazing, and he will now take his place at Bayern Munich. 9

Serge Romero- He did very well to make some progress. 7

Javier Mascherano- He did very well and was his team’s best player. 8.5

Lionel Messi- He always looks extremely dangerous. He didn’t bury the free kick when it mattered most. 7
